Frisch Defeats JEC on Opening Day
In their first game of the season, the Frisch Varsity Boys’ Softball team destroyed JEC by the final score of 25-6 on Tuesday evening. The game concluded after 4 innings due to the Mercy Rule.
Spectators have high hopes for this year’s team, as it contains the same group of players who won the Junior Varsity championship in 2008.
Joey Frankel (’10) pitched shutout ball until the fourth inning during which 6 runs scored on a combination of walks, hits, and errors.
The next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 21st, home at Frisch against SAR.
